    Dateline: Dublin, Ireland
    Time: 08:55, Wednesday 11th August 2010
Today’s trousers: Levi 501s with the hole in the left pocket.

The intrepid runner Mr. Matthew Dowsett, from ‘Er Majesties Country of England, fowards us his reportage from the small Navarran town of Estella (In the communidad of Mancomunidad de Montejurra, Population: 14, 238, and 1 Guinness bar).

Mr. Dowsett, and his accompanying runner, Mr. Peter Hainan of London Town, spent one week taking part in the town’s traditional bullrunning festivals, where live, wild, four-legged bulls are released onto the streets and locals run in front of them.

Above: Mr. Peter Hainan discovering Estella\’s Guinness pub.

Above: Mr. Hainan, of Ye Olde London Town, sampling Guinness from Estella\’s only Guinness pub.

Above: Indeed, the Guinness was not in bottle, rather it was on draft. One can only speculate, before August 2010, this tap was used before.

As always gentlemen, Guinness Monday International thanks you for your service to furthering Guinness throughout the world.

Matt Dowsett, our roving Guinness Monday member (who seems to rove all over the place), send us word of the first (as far as the official documentation goes) Guinness Monday in Wales.

Say hello to Sally Griffiths from Wales. The GM was held in the Grand Hotel (the one and only) in Swansea, which in Welsh is “Abertawe, which means “mouth of the Tawe“. Just in case you didn’t know.

Next time Matt: get more people! Guinness goes down better when you have more company!

June has been a busy month so far for Guinness Monday in London. GMCVP, Alan Huggett, brought the troops out for a small battle on the streets a few days.

Even Big Ben knows what time it is!

    GMCVP, Alan Huggett.

    An arty shot.

May was a good month for Guinness Mondays in London, with the GMC VP Mr. Alan Huggett welcoming 3 new members into the fold.

That all important time - 17:59

Difficult to make out, but…a good time to pay.
